If you are in a moving chain, it is advisable to start gathering removal quotes soon after your offer is accepted. Doing so gives you plenty of time to compare quotes and be ready to book once exchange takes place.
As you may know, we operate from two branches. One in Portishead, serving Portishead, Thornbury, Bristol and surrounding areas managed by Chris Street. The other branch is operated by Linda & Andrew Haigh serving Nailsea, Clevedon, Yatton, WSM, Chew Valley and surrounding areas. We recommend you contact the branch closest to where you are moving from. E.g if you are moving from Portishead to Nailsea, you can contact our Portishead branch. Both of our branches work together to provide the best service possible so don't worry if you aren't sure. Either branch will be able to help you or answer any questions you have.
No. You are welcome to use your own moving boxes. Redcliffe boxes are industry standard size and stronger than most other cardboard cartons on the market. They are specifically designed to maximise space in our removal vans and therefore for efficiency and safety of goods.
No. Our team will bring portable wardrobe rails on moving day. We will load and unload your clothes for you.
If your new property doesn't have wardrobe space, please let us know beforehand and we can arrange for portable wardrobe hire if necessary.
If the pictures are small enough to fit inside a box, then this is the safest place for them. Larger pictures can be left on the wall until moving day. Our team will wrap them in transit blankets for protection.
